ADOPTION STATEMENT: ADOPTION OF THE
DEVELOPER CONTRIBUTIONS SUPPLEMENTARY
PLANNING DOCUMENT

Notice is hereby given in accordance with Regulation 14
of the Town and Country Planning (Local Planning)
(England) Regulations 2012 (as amended), that a Developer
Contributions Supplementary Planning Document (SPD)
was formally adopted by Cherwell District Council on 26
February 2018.
The Developer Contributions SPD sets out the Council’s
approach to seeking Section 106 planning obligations from
new developments for the provision of necessary infrastructure,
community facilities and services.The SPD has been the subject
of public consultation and has been modified pursuant to
section 23(1) of the Planning and Compulsory Act 2004,
to take into account representations made in relation to
the document. Details of the representations received and
modifications made to the SPD are set out in the Statement
of Consultation.
The SPD, this Adoption Statement, and associated documents
are available on the Council’s website:

Any person with sufficient interest in the decision to adopt
the SPD may apply to the High Court for permission to apply
for judicial review of that decision. Any such application
must be made promptly and in any event not later than three
months after 26 February 2018, the date on which the SPD
was adopted.
