NOTICE OF MAKING OF ORDER PUBLIC PATH DIVERSION AND DEFINITIVE MAP AND STATEMENT MODIFICATION ORDER HIGHWAYS ACT 1980, WILDLIFE AND COUNTRYSIDE ACT 1981
The Oxfordshire County Council, Gosford and Water Eaton Bridleway No. 5 (part), Public Path Diversion and Definitive Map and Statement Modification Order 2018.
The Order, made on 12th February 2018, if confirmed as made will modify the Definitive Map and Statement for the area by diverting 65m of Gosford and Water Eaton Br. 5 that runs south-eastwards from OS Grid Ref SP 5085 1322 along the woodland track to the south-west of the River Cherwell to SP5089 1317 and then south-westwards to SP 5085 1313 to a line running southwards from SP 5085 1322 for 93m along an accommodation track to SP 5085 1313 where it re-joins the existing bridleway as shown on the Order map and also by diverting 115m of the bridleway that runs south-south-westwards from SP 5081 1305 to SP 5077 1298 and then east-north-eastwards to SP 5081 1299 to a new line running southwards from SP 5081 1305 along an accommodation track to SP 5081 1299 where it re-joins the existing bridleway as shown on the Order map.

Any representations about or objections to the Order may be sent in writing to the Senior Rights of Way Officer, Oxfordshire County Council, Definitive Map and Commons, Speedwell House, Speedwell Street, Oxford OX 1 1NE not later than 30th March 2018. Please state the grounds on which they are made. If no such representations or objections are duly made, or if anyso made are withdrawn,the Oxfordshire County Council may confirm the Order as an unopposed Order. If the Order is sent to the Secretary of State for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs for confirmation any representations or objections which have not been withdrawn will be sent with the Order.
The County Council will consider all correspondence, objections and representations received in response to this consultation.They may be disseminated widely for these purposes and made available to the public.
