THE A34 TRUNK ROAD (NEAR OXFORD) (CLOSURE OF LAY-BY) ORDER 201X
Highways England Company Limited hereby gives notice that it intends to make an Order under Sections 1(1), 2(1), and (2) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 on the A34 in the County of Oxfordshire. The effect of the Order would be to close the lay-by adjacent to the A34 southbound between points 381 metres and 280 metres north of the South Hinksey Junction overbridge. A copy of the draft Order, of a plan illustrating the proposal and of a statement explaining why Highways England Company Limited proposes to make the Order may be inspected during office hours at -
(i) Oxfordshire County Council, County Hall, New Road, Oxford, OX1 1ND
(ii) Vale of White Horse District Council, 135 Eastern Avenue, Milton Park, Milton, OX14 4SB
until the end of the objection period. Any person desiring to object or make representations to Highways England Company Limited's proposal should send, not later than 11/01/2018, a written statement of his or her representation or objection and of the grounds thereof to the person and address at the bottom of this notice, quoting the reference 'HE/SE/A34/ LAYBY'.
