CROYDON COUNCIL ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT, 1984 SECTION 14, AS AMENDED AND ALL OTHER ENABLING POWERS. TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF VEHICULAR TRAFFIC
1. Croydon Council HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that to facilitate gas mains replacement, they have made an Order the effect which would be to:

(a) temporarily close to vehicular traffic where this is considered necessary to facilitate the work in progress;

(b) temporarily introduce banned turns or waiting restrictions at any time throughout the week should this be required;

(c) introduce one-way traffic for the duration of the works;

(d) temporarily suspend any parking bays;

(e) temporarily introduce width restrictions or weight restrictions as and when necessary;

(f) temporarily introduce any other traffic management measures as required to facilitate the work in progress as and when necessary;

(g) temporarily revoke any existing prescribed route order as and when necessary.

2. Wherever the work happens to be in progress in those streets or lengths of streets specified in the Schedule to this Notice, no person may cause or permit any vehicle to

[a) proceed in a direction other than that indicated by a traffic sign, or

(b) proceed in any street or length of street which may at the time be subject to a road closure until the completion of the work allows.

3. Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction on waiting imposed by this Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.

4. During the prohibitions referred to in paragraphs 1 and 2 above, displaced traffic will be diverted via local streets as appropriate.

5. The Order will come into operation on the 07 September 2017 and will remain in force for a period of 18 months although it is anticipated that the gas works will be completed within 10 weeks.

(Note: The provisions of the Order will only apply during such times and to such extent as shall from time to time be indicated by traffic signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs, Regulations and General Directions 2002. CROYDON COUNCIL ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984, SECTION 14, AS AMENDED COLLEGE GREEN, UPPER NORWOOD TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF PARKING
1. Croydon Council, HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that that to facilitate the siting of refuse and recycling bins, skips and a temporary site toilet whilst works are carried out at Nos. 98 to 176 College Green, they intend to make an Order the effect of which will be to temporarily suspend parking and introduce waiting and loading restrictions operating "at any time" in part of College Green.

2. Whilst the provisions of the Order remain in force, waiting or loading by vehicles will be prohibited at any time in the inset parking bay on the north-east side of College Green, adjacent to Nos. 98 to 176 College Green. Any vehicle waiting in contravention of a waiting restriction imposed by this Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.

3. The Order will come into operation on the 21 September 2017 and it is anticipated that the works will be carried out in approximately seven weeks. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further works be required.

(Note: The provisions of the Order will only apply during such times and to such extent as shall from time to time be indicated by traffic signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

CROYDON COUNCIL PROPOSED FREE FOOTWAY PARKING BAYS AND "AT ANY TIME" WAITING RESTRICTIONS - BENSHAM LANE,
THORNTON HEATH The Croydon (Waiting and Loading Restriction) (No.B31) Traffic Order 20-The Croydon (Bensham Lane) (Free Footway Parking Places) (No.B32) Traffic Order, 20-
1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Croydon Council propose to make the above Traffic Orders under Sections 6 and 124 of and Part IV of
Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984, as amended and all other enabling powers.
2. The general effect of the Orders would be to introduce free partial footway parking bays in Bensham Lane (between Frant Road

and Ecclesbourne Road) in conjunction with yellow line waiting restrictions operating "at any time". Existing disabled bays will remain unaffected.
3. Copies of the proposed Orders and of all related Orders, of the Council's statement of reasons for proposing to make the Orders and of the plans which indicate each length of road to which the Orders relate, can be inspected during normal office hours on Mondays to Fridays inclusive until the last day of a period of six weeks beginning with the date on which the Orders were made or, as the case may be, the Council decides not to make the Orders, at the Enquiry Counter, 'Access Croydon' Facility, Bernard Weatherill House, 8 Mint Walk, Croydon, CR0 1EA.

6. The Orders are intended to introduce a free footway parking scheme with "at any time" waiting restrictions in part of Bensham Lane. This will improve road safety by regulating parking, keeping junctions clear and preventing obstructive parking.

1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Croydon Council proposes to make the above Traffic Orders under the relevant sections of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended and all other enabling powers.

2. The general effect of the Orders would be to:-

(a) Revoke the existing loading bay in Wortley Road near the junction with Canterbury Road and introduce a new loading bay in Chipstead Valley Road near the junction with Rickman Hill, operating from 9am to 5pm, Monday to Saturday, with a maximum loading period of 30 minutes. (Note: an existing bus stop would need to be relocated 6.5 metres nearer the junction with Rickman Hill in order to accommodate the new loading bay);

(b) Introduce two additional shared use (permit/pay and display) parking bays in Wortley Road to replace the redundant loading bay, with a maximum stay of 12 hours for pay and display visitors, operating from 8am to 8pm, Mondays to Sundays inclusive;

(c) Introduce two disabled parking bays in Whytecliffe Road South outside Nos. 65 to 75, operating from 7pm to 10pm throughout the week.

3. A copy of the proposed Orders and all related documents can be inspected until the last day of a period of six weeks beginning with the date on which the Orders are made or, as the case may be, the Council decides not to make the Orders, between 9am and 4pm on Mondays to Fridays inclusive at the Enquiry Counter, "Access Croydon" Facility, Bernard Weatherill House, 8 Mint Walk, Croydon, CR0 1 EA.

The Orders are also intended to introduce a loading bay in Chipstead Valley Road to assist a local business and to introduce two limited time disabled bays in Whytecliffe Road South, for use by disabled visitors to the local mosque and other local amenities.

(a) Revoke the existing police parking bay outside No. 11 Oliver Grove and replace it with two shared use (permit/pay and display) parking bays operating from 9am to 5pm, Monday to Saturday with a maximum stay of four hours for pay & display visitors;

(b) Relocate the two shared use (permit/pay and display) parking bays outside Nos. 11 and 13 Sheldon Street to the opposite side of the road;

(c) Introduce one additional free one-hour parking bay in Station Approach Road, Coulsdon, opposite the flank wall of 127 Brighton Road, Coulsdon.

6. The proposed Orders are intended to revoke an unused police bay in Oliver Grove and introduce two shared use parking bays to replace it. The Orders are also intended to relocate two shared use bays in Sheldon Street to the opposite side of the road to assist large vehicles negotiating the road, and to introduce an addition free one-hour maximum stay bay in Station Approach, Coulsdon, to provide more parking for visitors to the area.

1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Croydon Council propose to make Traffic Order under Sections 32, 35, 124 of, and Parts I to IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984 as amended and all other enabling powers.

2. The general effect of the Order would be:

(i) to introduce an enforceable free off-street car park in the area of land off Albert Road, bounded by its junction with Albert Road, the Arena Secondary School, the tram lines and the rear of properties in Macclesfield Road;

(ii) to require all drivers to comply with the requirements of any parking bay signs or surface markings within the car park, to display a valid Blue disabled badge when parking in marked disabled bays and to avoid parking where double yellow line markings indicate that parking is prohibited.
