NOTICE OF CONFIRMATION OF MODIFICATION ORDER SECTION 53 OF THE WILDLIFE AND COUNTRYSIDE ACT 1981
The Oxfordshire County Council Definitive Map and Statement of Public Rights of Way for Oxfordshire Blewbury Bridleway No. 41 & Blewbury Bridleway No. 42 Modification Order 2015 On the 7 April 2017, an Inspector appointed by the Secretary of State for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs confirmed the above Order made under section 53 of the Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981. The effect of the Order as confirmed is to modify the Definitive Map and Statement for the area by: - Upgrading to a bridleway the section of the public footpath known as Blewbury FP 19 from London Road (A417) at SU 5299 8554 southwards for approximately 54 metres to Blewbury FP 22 at SU 5296 8549 AND Adding a bridleway from Blewbury FP22 at SU 5296 8549 generally eastwards for approximately 376 metres, and then generally northwards for approximately 54 metres to the London Road at SU 5334 8554 AND Modifying the Definitive Statement for Blewbury FPs 19, 21 and 22 A copy of the Order and Order map is available online at www.oxfordshire.gov.uk/cms/public-site/consultation. The Order as confirmed became operative on the date of confirmation but if a person aggrieved by the Order wants to question its validity, on the grounds that it is not within the powers of section 53 of the Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981, or on the grounds that any requirement of Schedule 15 to the Act has not been complied with in relation to the Order, he or she may, under paragraph 12 of Schedule 15 to the Act, within 42 days from 20th July 2017, make an application for that purpose to the High Court.
