NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on 3 July 2017 Oxfordshire County Council made the above order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. There has been in place the Oxfordshire County Council (Oxford, Wolvercote, Various Roads) (Prohibition of Waiting) Experimental Order 2016 which is being revoked and its provisions incorporated into this order as an amendment to the Oxfordshire County Council (Various Streets, Oxford) (Waiting and Loading Restrictions) Consolidation Order 2009, as amended. The effect of this Order, which comes into force on 17 July 2017 is as follows. In respect of (1 & 2 below) in Wolvercote is to make experimental measures permanent: (1.) No Waiting at Any Time extended in Godstow Road, Northeast side - from Wolvercote roundabout to Goose Green CloseFairlawn End East side - The whole length of road; West Side - From its junction with First Turn northwards for a distance of 30 metres. (2.) No Waiting 10am – 11am Monday-Friday in Mere Road Northeast side - From a point 14 metres southeast of the south-eastern kerb line of Godstow Road, south-eastwards for 46 metres; and from a point 13 metres northwest of the northwest kerb line of First Turn north-westwards for 70 metres. St Peters Road Southeast side - From a point 46 metres southeast of First Turn, south-eastwards for 80 metres. (3.) Additionally, in Godstow Road outside Jacobs Inn public house, No Waiting at Any Time from Mill Road junction southwards on both sides and around the right bend, terminating on the south side at the boundary of Nos. 131/133, and on the north side opposite Nos. 137/137. In respect 4) below in Wood Farm to introduce No Waiting at any Time on the following sections of roads in: (4.) Atkyns Road - from its junction with Nuffield Road to the cycle route exit to,and around the bend with Nuffield Road, and Nuffield Road around the bend as it joins Masons Road, Titup Hall Drive across and into its junctions with Wood Farm Road and Joan Lawrence Place, and opposite the junction with Wood Farm Road. In Wood Farm Road at its junction with Masons Road; in Three Fields Road at its junction with Stubbs Avenue; in Blackstock Close - all along the north side, and along the south side at the junction with Horspath Driftway, and outside the Student accommodation block, and from Territorial Way up to and including the turning head. Documents giving more detailed particulars of the Order are available for public inspection at County Hall, New Road, Oxford, OX1 1ND from 9am to 4pm Monday to Friday, at Summertown Library, South Parade, OX2 7JN, Monday & Friday 9.30am to 5.30pm, Tuesday & Thursday 9.30am to 7.00pm, Saturday 9.00am to 4.30pm, and at Headington Library, North Place, OX3 9HY, on Monday & Wednesday 9.15am to 1pm, Tuesday & Thursday 9.15am to 7pm, Friday 9.15am to 5pm, and Saturday 9am to 4.30pm. If you wish to question the validity of this Order or of any provision contained in it on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, or on the grounds that any requirement of this Act or of any instrument made under it has not been complied with in relation to this Order, you may within six weeks from the 3 July 2017 apply to the High Court for this purpose.
