HIGHWAYS ACT 1980, SECTION 26 NOTICE OF CONFIRMATION OF A PUBLIC PATH CREATION ORDER South Oxfordshire District Council (Footpaths at Piccadilly Farm, Stadhampton) Creation Order 2017 On 13 June 2017 the South Oxfordshire District Council confirmed the above Order made under Section 26 of the Highways Act 1980.
The effect of the Order, as confirmed, is to create the public footpath 2 metres wide commencing at its junction with Public Footpath 359/1 at OS Grid Reference SU 6121 9825 (Point G on the Plan) and running in a south easterly direction for approximately 76 metres to OS Grid Reference SU 6125 9819 (Point H on the Plan) then running in a generally easterly direction for a further 36 metres to its junction with Public Footpath 359/7 at OS Grid Reference SU 6128 6819 (Point J on the Plan), and a Public Footpath 2 metres wide commencing at its junction with Public Footpath 359/5 at OS Grid Reference SU 6125 9822 (Point C on the Plan) and running in a generally northerly direction for approximately 29 metres to OS Grid Reference SU 6125 9825 (Point E on the Plan), then turning and running in an easterly direction for approximately 52 metres and then a south-easterly direction for approximately 4 metres to OS Grid Reference SU 6130 9825 (Point F on the Plan) as shown on the Order Map. A copy of the order and the Order map may be seen free of charge at South Oxfordshire District Council, 135 Eastern Avenue, Milton Park, Milton, OX14 4SB from 8.30 a.m. to 4.30 p.m. Monday to Friday. Copies of the Order and map may be bought there at the price of £10. The Order comes into force upon certification by Oxfordshire County Council, but if any person aggrieved by the order wishes to question its validity, or that of any provision contained in it, on the ground that it is not within the powers of the Highways Act 1980, as amended, or on the ground that any requirement of the Act, as amended, or of any regulation made under the Act has not been properly complied with in relation to the order, he or she may, under paragraph 2 of Schedule 2 to the Act as applied by paragraph 5 of Schedule 6 to the Act, within six weeks of the date of this notice, make an application to the High Court.
