OXFORDSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL (KINGSTON BAGPUIZEWITH SOUTHMOORAND LONGWORTH PARISHES) (30 MILES PER HOUR SPEED LIMIT) ORDER 20**
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Oxfordshire County Council proposes to make the above order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and all other enabling powers. The effect of the Order is to extend the 30mph speed limit (in place of the unrestricted limit) on the A415 Witney Road leading north out of the village to a point south of the A420 roundabout. The Oxfordshire County Council (Kingston Bagpuize with Southmoor and Longworth Parishes) (30 miles per hour Speed Limit) Order 2014 will be revoked and replaced.
KINGSTON BAGPUIZE - WITNEY ROAD & OXFORD ROAD:
PROPOSED BUS STOP CLEARWAY & CARRIAGEWAY NARROWING
The County Council as the local highway authority under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and all other enabling powers also proposes to introduce the following features to support the adjacent residential development:
? on Witney Road - a new bus stop and associated clearway (No stopping except buses) will be installed on the southbound carriageway (eastern side) south of the junction with the A420 Oxford Road roundabout, and
? on Oxford Road - the carriageway (from a point approx. 40 metres south-east of its junction with Witney Road) will be narrowed to a width of 4.8 metres, over a total length of 134.8 metres, to a point just east of Oxford Close.
