HIGHWAYS ACT 1980, SECTION 118 NOTICE OF MAKING A PUBLIC PATH EXTINGUISHMENT ORDER South Oxfordshire District Council (Public Footpaths, 359/1 (pt) & 359/5 (pt), Piccadilly Farm, Stadhampton) Extinguishment Order 2017.
The above Order, made on Monday 24 April 2017 under Section 118 of the Highways Act 1980, will extinguish the full width of that part of Public Footpath 359/1 commencing at OS Grid Reference SU 6129
9822 (Point A on the Plan) and running in a generally
west north westerly direction for approximately 27
metres to Grid Reference SU 6126 9823 (Point B on
the Plan), then running north westerly for
approximately 13 metres to Grid Reference SU 6125
9823 (Point D on the Plan) and the full width of that part
of Public Footpath 359/5 commencing at OS Grid Reference SU 6126 9823 (Point B on the Plan) and running in a west south westerly direction for
approximately 14 metres to Grid Reference SU 6125 9822 (Point C on the Plan).
A copy of the Order and the Order map may be seen free of charge at South Oxfordshire District Council,
135 Eastern Avenue, Milton Park, Milton OX14 4SB from 8.30 a.m. to 4.30 p.m. Monday to Friday. Copies of the Order and map may be bought there at the price of £10.
Any representation about or objection to the Order
may be sent or delivered in writing addressed to the Democratic Services Manager, South Oxfordshire
District Council, 135 Eastern Avenue, Milton Park, Milton OX14 4SB not later than Tuesday 30 May 2017.
Please state the grounds on which it is made.
If no such representations or objections are duly made,
or if any so made are withdrawn, South Oxfordshire District Council may itself confirm the Order as an unopposed order. If the Order is sent to the Secretary of State for the Environment for confirmation any representations or objections which have not been withdrawn will be sent with the Order.
