(VARIOUS ROADS - SOUTH OXFORDSHIRE) (PROHIBITION AND RESTRICTION OF WAITING AND PERMITTED PARKING) (VARIATION NO.XX*) ORDER 20**
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Oxfordshire County Council proposes to make above Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and all other enabling powers. The order will further amend the Oxfordshire County Council (Various Roads - South Oxfordshire) (Prohibition and Restriction of Waiting and Permitted Parking) Order 2008 with the following effect: The introduction in Wenman Road (Thame) of double yellow lines -'No Waiting at Any Time':
? on the south side, from the junction with the unnamed access road* leading south off of Wenman Road, westwards for 50** metres, and into the new as yet unnamed access road* leading south off of Wenman Road - both sides, from its junction with Wenman Road southwards for 15** metres.
*When the new roads are named the above entries will be updated accordingly.
(There are also included some administrative corrections to the order schedules which have no effect on parking measures on the roads)
WENMAN ROAD,THAME: PROPOSED PUFFIN CROSSING
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Oxfordshire County
Council as the local highway authority under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and all other enabling powers also proposes to construct a Puffin crossing (a signal controlled crossing for use by pedestrians) at the following location in Thame to help improve pedestrian safety in the area:
Wenman Road - 50 metres** east of its junction with Lupton Road.
** All dimensions are approximate, taken from the centre of the junction to the centre of the crossing. Objections to the proposal, specifying the grounds on which they are made and any other representations should be sent in writing to the address below no later than 17 March 2017.The County Council will consider objections and representations received in response to this Notice.They may be disseminated widely for these purposes and made available to the public.
