(Cassington Parish) (Speed Limits) Order

20**

NOTICE is given that Oxfordshire County Council proposes to make the above order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and all other enabling powers. The effect of the order - in order to help improve road safety on local roads following concerns raised by the Parish Council - is to introduce a 20mph speed limit throughout Cassington, replacing the existing 30mph speed limits in their entirety, leading out to the following points:
1. Eynsham Road - its junction with the A40,

2. Horsemere Lane - a point 115 metres southeast of its junction with St Peters Close,

3. Yarnton Road - a point 242 metres northeast of its junction with Bell Lane.

The Oxfordshire County Council (Cassington Parish) (Restricted Roads) Order 2001 will be revoked/replaced as necessary

Objections to the proposals and other representations specifying the grounds on which they are made may be sent in writing to the address below by the 2 September 2022. The Council will consider objections and representations received in response to this Notice. They may be disseminated widely for these purposes and made available to the public. (Ref. CM/12.6.152)

(Stadhampton - Chalgrove Areas) (Speed Limits) Order 20**

NOTICE is given that Oxfordshire County Council proposes to make the above order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and all other enabling powers. The effect of the order - in order to help improve road safety on local roads following concerns raised by the Parish Council - is to introduce a 20mph speed limit in Chalgrove on the roads lying south of the B480, replacing the existing 30mph speed limits in their entirety, leading out to the following points:
1. Berrick Road - a point 391 metres northeast of its junction with Mill Lane,

Berrick Road - a point 391 metres northeast of its junction with Mill Lane,
2. High Street - a point 205 metres northwest of its junction with Marley Lane,

3. Mill Lane - a point 430 metres south of its junction with Fleming Avenue.

The roads lying to the north of the B480 in the vicinity of the airfield & Monument Park will remain 30mph as existing after considering the current road environment & traffic usage.
The Oxfordshire County Council (Stadhampton - Chalgrove Areas) (Speed Limits) Order 2020 will be revoked/replaced as necessary
