Notice of Temporary Traffic Order
Didcot Footpath Closure Claimed Route P Date of Order: 16 December 2019 Came Into force: 1 January 2020 This Order was introduced because of construction of a new residential site which was originally anticipated to be completed in December 2020. Various delays have meant that the effect of the order will continue until December 2022. The Order closes temporarily the Claimed Route P Footpath running east from Footpath No.3 towards proposed Footpath No.34 (north of Dunnock End). Exemptions are included for emergency services and for the works and for pedestrian access to premises which are only accessible from the closed section of footpath. Appropriate signs are displayed to indicate when the measures are in force. There is no official diversion route. This Order, with the consent of the Secretary of State for Transport will remain in force until 31 December 2022 or until the works have been completed whichever is the sooner. (Ref. T7300/AC)
ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 -SECTION 14(1) & (2) Notice of Temporary Closure
Culham, Nunham Footpath Level Crossing Closure commenced 13 November 2021 Date of Order: 29 November 2021 Coming into force: 3 December 2020 This Order continues in force an emergency notice of closure for public safety reasons introduced because of Network Rail track cleaning works which commenced on 13 November 2021. The works are anticipated to be completed 17 January 2022. The effect of the Order is to close temporarily the Nunham Level Crossing at Culham. Exemptions are included for emergency services and for the works. The diversion is via Thame Lane to the south. Appropriate signs will be displayed to indicate when the measures are in force. This Order will remain in force for a maximum period of 6 months or until the works have been completed whichever is the sooner. (Ref. (CHILDREY AND SPARSHOLT) (SPEED LIMITS) ORDER 2021
NOTICE is given that on 29 November 2021 Oxfordshire County Council made the above order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and all other enabling powers. The order, which comes into force on 17 December introduced a 40mph speed limit in place of the National speed limit, as follows.
1. B4001 New Road - from the A417 Faringdon Road southwards then eastwards onto the unnamed B4001 road to a point 268 metres west of its junction with Church Row,

2. Pulpit Hill (road towards Sparsholt) - from its junction with the B4001, westwards to a point 90 metres east of its junction with Eastmanton Lane, Sparsholt.

The Oxfordshire County Council (Restricted Roads) (Childrey Parish) Order 2000 and the Oxfordshire County Council (Sparsholt Parish) (30 miles per hour Speed Limit) Order 2009 are hereby revoked. Documents giving more details of the order are available for public inspection online by visiting:

(UPTON, CHILTON ROAD) (PROHIBITION OF MOTOR VEHICLES) ORDER 2021
NOTICE is given that on 29 November 2021 Oxfordshire County Council made the above order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and all other enabling powers. The effect of the order, which comes into force on 17 December is as follows: Traffic Management:
* Banned Turning movements from Hagboume Hill into Chilton Road from both directions, supported by No entry signs at the junction for vehicles approaching from the west.

* Motor vehicle access into Chilton Road will continue to be from the A417 London Road junction for residents and visitors etc.

Cyclists are unaffected by the restrictions. Documents giving details of the order are available for public inspection online by visiting:

If you wish to question the validity of this Order or of any provision contained in it on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, or on the grounds that any requirement of this Act or of any instrument made under it has not been complied with in relation to this Order, you may within six weeks from 29 November 2021 apply to the High Court for this purpose.
