NOTICE OF CONFIRMATION OF PUBLIC PATH ORDER TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING
ACT 1990, SECTION 257 AND PARAGRAPH 7 OF SCHEDULE 14 OXFORD CITY COUNCIL THE OXFORD CITY COUNCIL (FOOTPATH NO 80, EAST OF WARREN CRESCENT, OXFORD) PUBLIC PATH DIVERSION ORDER NO 2 2019

On 24 August 2021 the Secretary of State for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs confirmed the above order. The effect of the order will be to divert the public footpath located to the east of Warren Crescent, Oxford and running from point A (adjacent to 25-27 Warren Crescent) to point B for approximately 50 metres in a generally south-south westerly direction and then to point C (adjacent to 33 to 43 Warren Crescent) for approximately 74 metres in a generally south westerly direction and to create an alternative footpath instead onto a line running from point A to point D for 20 metres in a southerly direction and then to point E for 27.7 metres in a westerly direction and then to point F for 59.2 metres in a generally south westerly direction (following the route of the existing footway adjacent to Warren Crescent) and then to point G for 30 metres in a generally south westerly direction (adjacent to the rear of 33 to 43 Warren Crescent] and then to point C for 10.5 metres where the footpath would rejoin its present route as shown on the order map. A copy of the confirmed order and the order map may be seen at the Town Hall, St Aldates, Oxford 0X11BX free of charge between the hours of 9am and 5.30pm Mondays to Fridays and 10am to 5.30pm on Saturdays (excluding bank holidays and public holidays) and at Oxfordshire County Library, Queen Street, Westgate, Oxford 0X11DJ free of charge between the hours of 9am and 5pm Monday to Fridays (excluding bank holidays and public holidays) from 25 November 2021 to 6 January 2022. This order comes into force on the date on which the Oxford City Council certify that the terms of Article 2 of the order have been complied with but if any person aggrieved by the order desires to question its validity or that of any provision contained in it on the ground that it is not within the powers of the above Act, or on the ground that any requirement of that Act or any regulation made under it has not been complied with in relation to the confirmation of the order, he or she may apply to the High Court for any of these purposes under section 287 of the Town and Country Planning Act 1990 within 6 weeks from the date on which notice is first published as required by paragraph 7 of Schedule 14to that Act.
