(THE CITY OF OXFORD) (CENTRAL AREA) (TRAFFIC MANAGEMENT) (VARIATION N0.14) ORDER 2021
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on 25 October 2021 Oxfordshire County Council made the above Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The effect of the Order, which comes Into force on 1 November is to permit Cargo Bikes (pedal cycles designed or adapted for carrying goods commercially) to use Queen Street in both directions at all times. Other cyclists continue to be prohibited from riding between 10.00am and 6.00pm daily. The Oxfordshire County Council (The City of Oxford) (Central Area) (Traffic Management) (Consolidation) Order 2003 is amended accordingly. If you wish to question the validity of the order or any provision contained in it on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, or on grounds that any requirement of the Act or of any instrument made under it has not been complied with in relation to this Order, you may within 6 weeks from 25 October 2021 apply to the High Court for this purpose. Any such objection must be in writing and state the grounds on which it is made and all objections and other representations must be sent to the address given below (quoting Ref:AK/12.6.320) within the relevant time period given above. The Council will consider objections and representations received in response to this Notice. They may be disseminated widely for these purposes and made available to the public.
