(OXFORD CITY) (DESIGNATION AND REGULATION OF PAY AND DISPLAY PARKING) (VARIATION N0.5) ORDER 2021

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on 4 October 2021 Oxfordshire County Council made the above order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and all other enabling powers. The effect of the order, which comes Into force on 110ctober Is to update and clarify the order schedules for permitted parking locations. There are no changes to road signs/markings. If you wish to question the validity of this Order or of any provision contained in it on the grounds that it Is not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, or on the grounds that any requirement of this Act or of any instrument made under it has not been complied with in relation to this Order, you may within six weeks from 4 October 2021 apply to the High Court for this purpose. (BENSON AND EWELME AREA) (SPEED LIMITS) ORDER 20** NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Oxfordshire County Council proposes to make the above order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and all other enabling powers. The effect of the order - due to road safety concerns raised by the Parish Council - is to introduce a 20mph speed limit throughout Ewelme village as follows. 20mph Speed Limit - replacing the existing 30mph speed limit within the village, leading out to the following points:

1. Cat Lane - 29 metres northeast of its junction with Britwell Road,



2. Days Lane -166 metres south of its junction with High Street,



3. High Street - a) its junction with Eyres Lane & Green Lane at the northern end, and b) 31 metres southeast of its junction with Parsons Lane at the southern end.



The existing 30mph speed limit will remain on: Benson Road, Cottesmore Lane, Eyres Close, Eyres Lane, and Green Lane.

The Oxfordshire County Council (Benson and Ewelme Area) (Speed Limits) Order 2018 will be revoked/replaced.

(AMENDMENT No.10*) ORDER 20** 4. (OXFORD, A44 NORTH OXFORD AREA) (TRAFFIC MANAGEMENT) ORDER 20** NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Oxfordshire County Council proposes to make the above orders under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and all other enabling powers. The orders relate to part of the A44 Northern Corridor development project and includes a new link road between the A40 and A44 west of the BMW Garage. The effect of the orders are as follows:

1) Introduce a 50mph speed limit on the A44 Woodstock Road, leading northwards from the existing 30mph speed limit at the Wolvercote roundabout, to the junction with the A34/ A44 Peartree roundabout, replacing the existing 70mph national speed limit.



2) Introduce a 20mph speed limit on the new A44/A40 link road for its entire length.



3) Introduce a 7.5 tonne weight restriction (with access exemptions) on the new link road.



4) To prohibit Right Turns from the new link road onto the A44 Woodstock Road, prescribing a left turn only onto the northbound carriageway.



5) A new staggered signalised crossing will also be introduced across the A44 Woodstock Road, immediately south of the new link road.



Additionally, as a result of residential development in Littlemore (Oxford) it is intended to introduce new 20mph speed limit on those roads south of Armstrong Road - comprising: Coombs Road, Lavender Drive, Neill Place, Padua Way and Perm Street. The Oxfordshire County Council (A44 Oxford to Woodstock Road) (Speed Limits) Order 2016, the Oxfordshire County Council (City of Oxford) (20mph Speed Limit) Order 2018, and The Oxfordshire County Council (Oxfordshire 7.5 tonne Maximum Gross Weight Restriction) Order 2007 will be revoked or further amended as appropriate. NOTICE OF MODIFICATION ORDER SECTION 53 OF THE WILDLIFE AND COUNTRYSIDE ACT 1981 The Oxfordshire County Council Definitive Map and Statement of Public Rights of Way for Oxfordshire Sutton Courtenay Footpath No. 33 Modification Order 2021 The above Order made on the 20 September 2021, if confirmed as made, will modify the Definitive Map and Statement for the area by: -

Adding to them the footpath from Sutton Courtenay Bridleway 3 at SP 5059 9417, running (generally) east-south-easterly for approximately 275m, then running south-south­westerly for approximately 196 metres to the junction with Sutton Courtenay Footpath 12.
