BUCKINGHAMSHIRE COUNCIL
The Council made The Buckinghamshire Council (Public Footpath No. 18, Longwick-cum-Ilmer) (Temporary Footpath Closure) Order 2021 on 30 July 2021 under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to temporarily prohibit any person from proceeding, except for access, in that length of Public Footpath No. 18, Longwick-cum-Dmer, from the former Shoulder of Mutton pub for a distance of approximately 60 metres to the existing sty on the east boundary. The closure was to take place on 1 August 2021 for 6 months. The works have been delayed and will now commence on 1 October 2021 for 4 months. The closure is required to enable the construction of a housing development. The alternative route for pedestrians affected by the closure will be via Public Bridleway No. 19, Longwick-cum-Ilmer. The Order came into operation on 1 August 2021 and will be in operation when the appropriate signs are lawfully displayed. The Order will continue in force until 1 February 2022 or until the works have been completed, whichever is the soonest.

The Council has made Buckinghamshire Council (Village Road, Chenies in the Parish of Chenies CP) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order, 2021 which will temporarily prohibit any vehicle from proceeding, except for access, in Village Road for approximately 175m. Alternative route: Amersham Road, Village Road, Claypits Lane and vice versa. The closure is required whilst Openreach track laying for ducting works take place commencing on 25 September 2021.This will be on 2 weekends only of 25-26 Sept and 2-3 Oct. Road will be open at all other times. The proposed Order will come into operation on 25 September 2021, as signed, with maximum 18 months duration.

The Council has made Buckinghamshire Council (Beaumont Rise, Marlow in the Parish of Marlow CP) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order, 2021 which will temporarily prohibit any vehicle from proceeding, except for access, in Beaumont Rise from Glade Road for approximately 65m. Alternative route: Station Rise, Station Road, Glade Road. The closure is required whilst Openreach pole replacement works take place commencing on 4 October 2021. The proposed Order will come into operation on 4 October 2021, as signed, with maximum 18 months duration.

The Council intends to make Buckinghamshire Council (Four Ashes Road, Church Lane, Cryers Hill in the Parish of Hughenden CP) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order, 2021 which will temporarily prohibit any vehicle from proceeding, except for access, in Four Ashes Road, Church Lane for approximately 213m. Alternative route: Four Ashes Road, Cryers Hill Road, Cryers Hill Lane, North Road and vice versa. The closure is required whilst Openreach tree cutting take place commencing on 5 October 2021 between 09:00 and 16:00. The proposed Order will come into operation on 5 October 2021, as signed, with maximum 18 months duration.

The Council intends to make Buckinghamshire Council (Northend Road, Northend in the Parish of Turville CP) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order, 2021 which will temporarily prohibit any vehicle from proceeding, except for access, in Northend Road for approximately 135m. Alternative route: Northend Road, Road Between Hartwood And Northend, Road Between Hollandridge Lane To Hartwood, Hollandridge Lane, Road Running Through Christmas Common From Hollandridge Lane To The Old Church, Greenfield, Section Of B480 Known As Patemore Lane, Section Of B480 Running Through Pishill, Road Running Through Stonor, Balham's Lane and vice versa. The closure is required whilst Thames Water disconnection take place commencing on 4 October 2021. Road will be closed for the duration of the works. The proposed Order will come into operation on 4 October 2021, as signed, with maximum 18 months duration.

The Council intends to make Buckinghamshire Council (High Street, Princes Risborough in the Parish of Princes Risborough CP) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order, 2021 which will temporarily prohibit any vehicle from proceeding, except for access, in High Street for approximately 35m. Alternative route: Church Street, Stratton Road, Manor Park Avenue, Station Road, Wycombe Road, Bell Street and vice versa. The closure is required whilst Thames Water new connection take place commencing on 4 October 2021 between 20:00 and 06:00. Road will be closed at night only between 20:00-06:00. Road will be open by 06:00 each day. The proposed Order will come into operation on 4 October 2021, as signed, with maximum 18 months duration.
