ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14(1)
Notice of Temporary Traffic Order
Brightwell-cum-Sotwell, Sotwell Street Prohibition of Through Traffic Date of Order: 27 September 2021 Coming into force: 4 October 2021 This Order is being introduced because of thatching works which are anticipated to be completed on 22 October 2021. The effect of the Order is to temporarily prohibit any vehicle proceeding in that part of Sotwell Street between its junctions with Penny Green Lane and Bakers Lane. Appropriate traffic signs will be displayed to indicate when the measures are in force.
Exemptions are included for emergency services, for Works and for access to premises which are only accessible from the closed section of road. The alternative route for traffic is via Bakers Lane, Bell Lane and vice versa. This Order will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works have been completed whichever is the sooner. (Ref. T9302/RAG)_
Notice of Temporary Traffic Order
Sunningwell Bridleway 372/13 Closure Date of Order: 27 September 2021 Coming into force: 1 October 2021 This Order is being introduced because of housing development which is anticipated to take 6 months to complete. The effect of the Order is to close temporarily that part of Sunningwell Bridleway 372/13, north of Dunmore Road. Exemptions are included for emergency services, for Works and for pedestrian access to premises which are only accessible from the closed section of bridleway. Appropriate traffic signs will be displayed to indicate when the measures are in force. The alternative route will be signposted locally to the west. This Order will remain in force for a maximum period of 6 months or until the works have been completed whichever is the sooner. (Ref.T9195/MR)_
Notice of Temporary Traffic Order
Radley, Various Roads - Prohibition of Vehicles Date of Order: 6 September 2021 Coming into force: 16 September 2021 This Order is being introduced because of drainage survey works which are anticipated to be completed 25 September 2021. This will operate weekdays between 20:00 and 06:00 hours. The effect of the Order, when appropriate signage is in place, is to temporarily prohibit through traffic and waiting in parts of Church Road, Foxborough Road to its junction with Stonhouse Crescent, and in St. James Road and St. James Terrace. Appropriate traffic signs will be displayed to indicate when the measures are in force. Exemptions are included for emergency services, for Works, and for access to premises which are only accessible from the closed section of road. The alternative route for traffic is via Whites Lane, Foxborough Road and vice versa. This Order will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works have been completed whichever is the sooner. (Ref.T9285/AC)_
Notice of Temporary Traffic Order
Stanford in the Vale, Bow Road Prohibition of Through Traffic Date of Order: 27 September 2021 Coming into force: 5 October 2021 This Order is being introduced because of sewer repair works which are anticipated to be completed 2 November 2021. The effect of the Order is to temporarily prohibit any vehicle proceeding in that part of Bow Road between its junction with Kiln Close southwards to No.34. Appropriate traffic signs will be displayed to indicate when the measures are in force. Exemptions are included for emergency services, for Works and for access to premises which are only accessible from the closed section of road. The alternative route for traffic is via Chapel Road, Church Green, High Street, A417, B4508, Bow Road and vice versa. This Order will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works have been completed whichever is the sooner. (Ref. T9281/AC)
Notice of Temporary Traffic Order
North Hinksey, North Hinksey Lane with Westway Prohibition of Through Traffic Date of Order: 27 September 2021 Coming into force: 1 October 2021 This Order is being introduced because of Botley Road improvement scheme works which is anticipated to take 3 months to complete. The effect of the order is alternately to temporarily prohibit vehicles using the 2 junctions of North Hinksey Lane with Westway/Botley Road. Each junction will be closed in turn allowing access by the alternative junction. Appropriate traffic signs will be displayed to indicate when the measures are in force. Exemptions are included for emergency services and the Works. Diversion route will be either end of North Hinksey Lane East or West dependent on which junction closed. One route will always be open during works. This Order will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works have been completed whichever is the sooner. (Ref. T9169/MR)
