Notice of Temporary Traffic Order

Kidlington, Partridge Place (Roundham Level Crossing) Prohibition of Through Traffic Date of Order: 12 July 2021 Coming into force: 17 July 2021 This Order is being introduced because of Network Rail maintenance which is anticipated to take place over 9 weeks during single overnight closures. The effect of the order is to temporarily prohibit vehicles using the section of Partridge Place that crosses the railway as follows: Saturday 17 July 21 22:00 - to 10.OOhrs Sunday Saturday 24 July 21 22:00 - to 10.00 Sunday Saturday 31 July 21 22:00 - to 10.00 Sunday Saturday 7 August 22:00 - to 10.00 Sunday Saturday 14 August 22:00 - to 10.00 Sunday Saturday 21 August 22:00 - to 10.00 Sunday Saturday 18 Sept. 22:20 - to 0830 Sunday Appropriate traffic signs will be displayed to indicate when the measures are in force. Exemptions are included for emergency services and for the works. There is no alternative route for traffic. This Order will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works have been completed whichever is the sooner. (Ref.T8847/MR)_

Notice of Temporary Traffic Order

Bicester, Charles Shouler Way Prohibition of Through Traffic Date of Order: 12 July 2021 Coming info force: 19 July 2021 This Order is being introduced because of construction of a new roundabout at the junction of Charles Shouler Way with Wendlebury Road including associated cycle and footways, street lighting and signage works which are anticipated to be completed 17 September 2021. The effect of the Order is to temporarily prohibit any vehicle proceeding in Charles Shouler Way. Appropriate traffic signs will be displayed to indicate when the measures are in force. Exemptions are included for emergency services and for the works and for access to premises which are only accessible from the closed section of road. The alternative route for traffic is West bound - north along Wendlebury Road, south along A41 Oxford Road. East bound - north along A41 Oxford Road to roundabout junction with B4030 Pringle Drive, south along A41 Oxford Road, south along Wendlebury Road This Order will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works have been completed whichever is the sooner. Notice of Temporary Traffic Order

Finmere - Mere Road and Valley Road Prohibition of Through Traffic Date of Order: 26 July 2021 Coming into force: 2 August 2021 This Order is being introduced because of communications works which are anticipated to be completed on 22 August 2021 .The effect of the Order is to temporarily prohibit any vehicle proceeding in the whole length of Mere Road, (2-15 August), and that part of Valley Road between the junctions of Banbury Road and Mere Road (16-22 August). Appropriate traffic signs will be displayed to indicate when the measures are in force. Exemptions are included for emergency services and for the works and for access to premises which are only accessible from the closed section of road. The alternative route is via Mere Road, Valley Road, Banbury Road, Sandpit Hill, Banbury Road and vice versa. This Order will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works have been completed whichever is the sooner. (Ref. T9039/RAG)

(CHESTERTON PARISH) (SPEED LIMITS) ORDER 20** NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Oxfordshire County Council proposes to make the above order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and all other enabling powers. The effect of the order - due to road safety concerns raised by the Parish Council - is to introduce a 20mph speed limit in the centre of Chesterton village, and also introduce 'buffer' 40mph speed limits on the village approaches as follows.

20mph Speed Limit - replacing the existing 30mph speed limit on the main village roads, leading out to:

1. Alchester Road at its junction with the A4095,



2. Green Lane - a point 98.5 metres west of its junction with Vespasian Way, and



3. The Green (towards Wendlebury) - to a point 73 metres south of its junction with Green Lane.



40mph Speed Limit - in place of the existing 30mph & 60mph National Speed Limits on:

4. Green Lane - from a point 98.2 metres west of its junction with Vespasian Way westwards for a distance of 505 metres, and



5. The Hale - from its junction with Green Lane, northwards for a distance of 301 metres.



30mph Speed Limits will remain on the A4095 Kirtlington Road, the A4095 Bignell View, and The Hale. The Oxfordshire County Council (Chesterton Parish) (30mph Speed Limit) Order 2019 will be revoked/replaced. Objections to the proposals and other representations specifying the grounds on which they are made may be sent in writing to the address below by the 13 August 2021. The Council will consider objections and representations received in response to this Notice. They may be disseminated widely for these purposes and made available to the public. (Ref.
