ENVIRONMENT AGENCY Water Resources Act 1991 (as amended by the
Water Act 2003) Notice of application for a full licence to abstract (take) water for a previously exempt abstraction. Ancala Water Services (Estates) Limited has applied tc the Environment Agency for a licence. The Environment Agency is giving notice of this application in accordance with Section 37 of the Water Resources Act 1991 and Regulation 8 of The Water Abstraction (Transitional Provisions) Regulations 2017. The application is for a full licence to abstract water from boreholes at National Grid References: SU 4313 and SU4313.
The application is to abstract water as follows:
* 24 cubic metres an hour ? 454 cubic metres a day
* 80,187 cubic metres a year ? between 1 April and 31 March inclusive in each year.
The water will be used for Potable supply.
