Notice is hereby given that the Wiltshire Council has made Orders to close temporarily to all traffic: A) The Laurels, Melksham; from its junction with Westlands Lane for its entire length to enable Gigaclear Limited to install fibre for Cigaclear Network. No alternative route is available; access will be maintained for residents and businesses where possible. This Order will come into operation on 16 June 2021 and the closure will be required until 21 June 2021. For further information please contact Avonline Networks on 07929173670. B) A365 (Part), Melksham; from its junction with A350 to its junction with Scholars Way to enable Wiltshire Council to carry out carriageway resurfacing, patching works, road marking and adjustment of ironworks. Alternative route: via A365(unaffected length) -A4 - A350 and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 16 June 2021 and the closure will be required between the hours of 19:00 and 23:59 until 30 June 2021. Q Grove Road, Corsham; from its junction with Station Road to its junction with South Street to enable Cigaclear Limited to carry out excavation work to lay fibre optic cabals. Alternative route: via South Street - Hastings Road - Station Road and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 14 June 2021 and the closure will be required until 25 June 2021. The closures and diversion routes will be clearly indicated by traffic signs. It is anticipated that the works will take the stated duration to complete depending upon weather conditions. Access will be maintained for residents and businesses where possible, although delays are likely due to the nature of the works.
