(AMBROSDEN, ARNCOTT, BLACKTHORN, MERTON AND PIDDINGTON PARISHES) (SPEED LIMITS) ORDER 20** NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Oxfordshire County Council proposes to make the above order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and all other enabling powers. This order results from development of land in Ambrosden southwest of Home Farm Close on Merton Road running south-westwards towards the M40. The proposal Is to extend the 30mph speed limit on Merton Road by 100 metres, reducing the National Speed Limit (60mph) by the same amount and will cover the construction of a new access road junction.

The Oxfordshire County Council (Ambrosden, Arncott, Blackthorn, Merton And Plddlngton Parishes) (Speed Limits) Order 2020 will be revoked/replaced. Documents giving more details of the proposals are available for public Inspection online by visiting:

Objections to the proposals and other representations specifying the grounds on which they are made may be sent In writing to the address below by 09 July 2021. Notice of Temporary Traffic Order

Bicester, A4095 Southwold Lane 30mph Speed Limit Date of Order: 21 June 2021

Coming into force: 28 June 2021 This Order Is being introduced because of Thames Water maintenance work which Is anticipated to be completed on 6 July 2021. The effect of the Order is to reduce the existing 50mph speed limit to 30mph along that part of the A4095 Southwold Lane between Heather Road and Fringford Road. The relevant part of the Oxfordshire County Council (Bicester Area) (Speed Limits) Order 2020 will be temporarily suspended. Appropriate traffic signs will be displayed to Indicate when the measures are in force. This Order will remain In force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works have been completed whichever is the sooner.
