Notice of Temporary Traffic Order
Oxford, Broad Street Temporary Traffic Management Date of Order: 21 June 2021 Coming into force: 1 July 2021 This Order has been introduced because of restrictions to reduce traffic and enable civic space providing safe seating areas in Broad Street, and 'No Left Turn' from Turl Street which are initially anticipated to continue for 3 months. Loading bays, motorcycle parking bays and Disabled Persons Parking Places have been relocated nearby. Appropriate signs are displayed to indicate when the measures are in force. Exemptions: emergency service vehicles, access to property, refuse vehicles, deliveries and service vehicles permitted only between 9pm and 8am. There will be an exemption for diverted buses on the occasion of St Giles Fair. The relevant parts of the ("Oxfordshire County Council (Disabled Persons Parking Places - Oxford) Order 2020 and the Oxfordshire County Council (City of Oxford) (Central Area) (Traffic Management) Consolidation Order 2003 (as amended) will be temporarily suspended. This Order will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the measures have been discontinued whichever is the sooner. (Ref. T9103/MR)
ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 -SECTION 14(1) & (2) Notice of Temporary Traffic Order
Wolvercote Bridleway Date of Order: 7 June 2021 Coming into force: 17 June 2021 This Order continues in force an emergency closure by notice on 28 May 2021 introduced because of bridge repair works by Canal & River Trust, located beside the A40 and below the A34 flyover. The estimated end date of the work and closure will be 22 December 2021. The effect of the Order is to close temporarily Bridleway No.320/15/20 from its junction with Footpath 320/119/20 to the crossing/swing Bridge No.233 at Footpath 229/26. Exemptions are included for emergency services and for the works. Appropriate traffic signs will be displayed to indicate when the measures are in force. The alternative route will be via Footpaths 320/119/10 and 320/8/10. This path is suitable for pedestrians, cycles and horses. This Order will remain in force for a maximum period of 6 months or until the works have been completed whichever is the sooner. (Ref.
