Notice of Temporary Traffic Order
Charlbury, Park Street Prohibition of Through Traffic Date of Order: 4 January 2021 Coming into force: 11 January 2021 This Order is being introduced because of fibre optic cabling works which are anticipated to be completed on 25 January 2021. The effect of the Order is to temporarily prohibit any vehicle proceeding in the whole length of Park Street
Appropriate traffic signs will be displayed to indicate when the measures are in force. Exemptions are included for emergency services and for the works and for access to premises which are only accessible from the closed section of road. The alternative route for traffic is via Church Street, Market Street, Thames Street, Nineacres Lane, The Slade, Sturt Road, Road through Charlbury and vice versa. This Order will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works have been completed whichever is the sooner. (Ref.T8070/RAG)
Notice of Temporary Traffic Order
Brize Norton, Station Road Prohibition of Through Traffic Date of Order: 4 January 2021 Coming into force: 11 January 2021 This Order is being introduced because of installation of fibre optic cables which is anticipated to be completed 8 February 2021. The effect of the Order is to temporarily prohibit any vehicle proceeding in that part of Station Road from the junction of Carterton Road, Brize Norton southwards to the A4095 Lew - Curbridge Road. Appropriate traffic signs will be displayed to indicate when the measures are in force.
Exemptions are included for emergency services and for the works and for access to premises which are only accessible from the closed section of road. The alternative route for traffic is via the A4095 Lew to Curbridge Road, Witney, Main Road Curbridge, Witney Road Brize Norton, Elm Grove Brize Norton and Manor Road Brize Norton. This Order will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works have been completed whichever is the sooner. (Ref.T816S/AC)
Notice of Temporary Traffic Order
Kingham, The Green Prohibition of Through Traffic Date of Order: 4 January 2021 Coming into force: 11 January 2021 This Order is being introduced because of new sewer connection works which is anticipated to be completed 29 January 2021. This will operate between 07:30 and 17:00hrs. The effect of the Order is to temporarily prohibit any vehicle proceeding in The Green between West Street and Church Street. Appropriate traffic signs will be displayed to indicate when the measures are in force. Exemptions are included for emergency services and for the works and for access to premises which are only accessible from trie closed section of road. The alternative route for traffic is via West Street, Blacksmiths Ct, Church Street and vice versa. This Order will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works have been completed whichever is the sooner. (Ref T8242/AC)
Notice of Temporary Traffic Order
Ducklington, road to Curbridge Prohibition of Through Traffic Date of Order: 4 January 2021 Coming into force: 11 January 2021 This Order is being introduced because of carriageway repairs works which are anticipated to be completed 19 February 2021. The effect of the Order is to temporarily prohibit through traffic proceeding or waiting in the unnamed road from Ducklington to Curbridge. Appropriate traffic signs will be displayed to indicate when the measures are in force. Exemptions are included for emergency services and for the works and for access to premises which are only accessible from the closed section of road. The alternative route for traffic is via the A4095, Curbridge Road & Thomey Leys Witney, the A415 and vice versa. This Order will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works have been completed whichever is the sooner.
