3. THE OXFORDSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL (VARIOUS STREETS COWLEY AREA) (TRAFFIC REGULATION) CONSOLIDATION (VARIATION NO.**) ORDER 20**

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Oxfordshire County Council proposes to make the above orders under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The effect of the Hollow Way proposal is to introduce a Controlled Parking Zone in the Hollow Way North area bounded by B4495 Hollow Way, Horspath Driftway, the A4142 Oxford Eastern bypass, and Horspath Road. Further consultation: The initial consultation period for this new CPZ was completed and resulted in suggestions that the Council will now consider further, as follows: Changes:

1.Brasenose Driftway, Craufurd Road, Ridley Road and Rupert Road - it is proposed to introduce no waiting at any time restrictions on both sides of these roads in the vicinity of their junctions with Horspath Road.

2. St Francis Court - is more appropriately placed to be listed within the Lye Valley order and will be transferred from the Hollow Way Order. It is also proposed to introduce no waiting at any time restrictions on both sides of St Francis Court at its junction with Hollow Way. The permitted parking measures and application procedures will be unchanged. There is to be a corresponding change to the descriptions of the Stated Areas of the 2 Zones to recognize this change.



3. Operators of Hotels and Guest Houses for properties at addresses within each Zone. will be eligible to apply for visitor's permits costing £1 each.



Other Matters:

The Oxfordshire County Council (Various Streets Cowley Area) (Traffic Regulation), Oxford) Consolidation Order 1997 (as amended) will be amended so that roads and waiting restrictions are moved from that order into this Proposed Zone order.

The Oxfordshire County Council (Oxford) (Lye Valley Area) (Restricted Parking Zone and Waiting Restrictions) Order 2016 will be further amended to reflect the changes proposed. Documents giving detailed particulars of the proposed Orders are available for public inspection at

Objections to the proposals, specifying the grounds on which they are made and any other representations should be sent in writing to the address below no later than 28 August 2020. temporarily resident at a Zone Address for work purposes will be eligible for a resident's permit. A resident who is temporarily resident for study purpose does not qualify.

2. Visitors permits will be available for residents at the Zone Addresses, usually a maximum of 50 days' worth of permits will be issued per year and provided in blocks of 25. A temporary resident will be entitled to 25 visitors permits.



3. The charges for residents permits per property will be £65 per annum. Visitors permits for residents aged 70 or over will be free of charge. For other residents the first block of 25 visitors permits will be free and the second block will be £1 per permit so that the cost of the second block will be £25.



4. Business permits will be available for businesses (where it is essential for business purposes) within the Zone. Permits will be limited to a maximum of two permits per business and will be vehicle specific. The charge for each will be £150 per annum or £40 for 3 months or £75 for 6 months or £115 for 9 months. The fee for a change of vehicle for business permits is £15.



5. Contractors may apply for a permit to use a parking place at a charge of £25 for any period not exceeding a week.



6. A hotel or guesthouse may apply to the Council for Hotel Visitors Permits in respect of properties at addresses within the Zone. The charge for each Permit valid for a period of up to 24 hours is £1.



7. All permits will be Zone specific (CM). A permit may be withdrawn if the permit has not been used in accordance with the provisions of the Order or where it has been abused. This may result in suspension of eligibility for further permits. Visitors Parking permits will be displayed on permitted vehicles so as to be readily visible, and enables parking in any parking place that allows permits holders to park.



8. Further proposals as follows: Additional lengths of no waiting at any time restrictions (double yellow lines) for the following locations:



? Cricket Road: northeast side between its junctions with Drove Acre Road and Howard Street, and southeast side near its junction with Drove Acre Road;



? Don Stuart Place: on both sides near its junction with Glanville Road



? Ridgefield Road: On both sides near its junctions with Magdalen Road and Cricket Road and at its bend approximately 85 metres northeast of its junction with Cricket Road.



9. The Oxfordshire County Council (Various Streets East Oxford) (Traffic Regulation), Oxford) Order 2002 will be amended so that roads and waiting restrictions are moved from that order into this Proposed Zone order.

2. (VARIOUS STREETS EAST OXFORD) (TRAFFIC

REGULATION)

(VARIATION NO.14) ORDER 20**

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Oxfordshire County Council

proposes to make the above order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and other enabling provisions. The effect of the main (earlier) proposal is to introduce a Controlled Parking Zone in the Cowley Marsh area, being the side roads on either side of the Cowley Road south of its junction with Magdalen Road and north of its junction with Marsh Road. Further consultation: The initial consultation period for this new CPZ was completed and resulted in suggestions that the Council will now consider further, as follows: Bhandari Close, a change to the parking provisions so as to provide: A) 'Two hour parking places 8.00am to 6.30pm every day' (Permit holders are exempt from time limit), B) 'Permit holders only 6.30pm to 8.00am every day' - both sides, from its junction with Cricket Road, north-eastwards for 53 metres.

Also to provide: A) 'Four hour parking places 8.00am to 9.30pm every day' (permit holders are exempt from time limit), B) 'Permit holders only 9.30pm to 8.00am every day'; from a point 53 metres northeast of Cricket Road north-eastwards, and north-westwards to the end of Bhandari Close. Barracks Lane, to clarify that on the northeast side from a point 8 metres southeast of Herbert Close for 126 metres there will be: A) 'Four Hour parking places 8.00am to 9.30pm every day' (permit holders are exempt from time limit), B) 'Permit holders only 9.30pm to 8.00am every day' (this is unchanged). New proposals as follows:

Barracks Lane - Northeast side, from 12 metres northwest of Glanville Road, south-eastwards for 74 metres, will have the same '2 hour' provisions as Bhandari Close above. Cowley Road - Residents of Cowley Road (Nos.326 to 510 (even) and Nos.287 to 473 (odd) - excepting Canterbury House will be able to apply for annual parking permits and the eligible properties are known as 'Zone Addresses' with a local identifier

of 'CM'.

1. Residents permits will be limited to one per resident with a maximum of two permits per property. A resident may obtain a temporary permit for a replacement vehicle while their permanent vehicle is off the road. A person who is

ORDER 2020

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on 27 July 2020 Oxfordshire County Council made the above order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The effects of the Order, which comes into force on 3 August are as follows:

1) to restrict access through the rising bollards situated in Turl Street near Market Street and in Oriel Square towards Merton Street. Certain limited classes of vehicle are variously authorised by Oxford City Council to proceed through the bollards and for others alternative means of access are available.



2) The following restriction has been in effect since 28.10.19 under the Oxfordshire County Council (Oxford, Abbey Road and Cripley Road) (Prohibition of Buses) Experimental Order 2019 (now revoked) and have been made permanent; so that buses continue to be prohibited from using Abbey Road and Cripley Road off Botley Road as a parking or turning area between 10am and 6pm all days.



All the above measures are now incorporated into the Oxfordshire County Council (City of Oxford) (Central Area) (Traffic Management) (Consolidation) Order 2003 which is further amended accordingly.
