ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - Section 14(1) Notice of Temporary Traffic Order

Eynsham Village centre roads Prohibition of Vehicles

Date of Order: 3 August 2020 Coming into force: 10 August 2020 This Order is being introduced under COVID 19 Regulations for public safety and social distancing and is anticipated to be completed 31 January 2021. The effect of the Order is to temporarily prohibit general traffic proceeding or waiting in Station Road, High Street, Acre End Street, Market Square and Thames Street. Appropriate traffic signs will be displayed to indicate when the measures are in force. Exemptions are included for emergency services, buses, taxis, deliveries, utility vehicles, disabled drivers and for access to properties. The alternative route for through traffic is via the A40 and B4449. This Order will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works have been completed whichever is the sooner (Ref. T8033/AC)
