Notice of Temporary Traffic Order

Witney, High Street and Welch Way Prohibition of Through Traffic and Parking Suspension Date of Order: 29 June 2020 Coming into force: 3 July 2020 This Order continues in force road closures by Works Notice introduced on 19 June for public safety measures under COVID-19 Regulations, in particular for pedestrians and cyclists. The effect of the closures is to temporarily prohibit through traffic using High Street between Witan Way and Corn Street, and Welch Way as far as Woodford Way. Parking is suspended throughput those areas. Exemptions are included for emergency services, buses, taxis, deliveries, disabled drivers, and for access to premises. Appropriate traffic signs will be displayed to indicate when the measures are in force. The alternative routes for traffic are via Witan Way, or via Woodford Way, Burford Road and vice versa. The relevant parts of the Oxfordshire County Council (Various Roads - West Oxfordshire) (Prohibition and Restriction of Waiting and Permitted Parking) Order 2012 will be suspended insofar as it permits parking in High Street. This Order will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the order is revoked whichever is the sooner. (Ref T7934/AC)_

Shipton-under-Wychwood - Trots Lane, Idbury, OX7 6DJ Prohibition of Through Traffic Date of Order: 20 July 2020 Coming into force: 29 July 2020 This Order is being introduced because of installation of fibre optic cables which is anticipated be completed 10 August 2020. The effect of the Order is to temporarily prohibit any vehicle proceeding in the whole length of Trots Lane. Appropriate traffic signs will be displayed to indicate when the measures are in force. Exemptions are included for emergency services and for the works and for access to premises which are only accessible from the closed section of road. The alternative route for traffic is via Upper End Chipping Norton, Burford Road Shipton Under Wychwood and onto Simons Lane and vice versa. This Order will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works have been completed whichever is the sooner (Ref T7802/AC)

Notice of Temporary Traffic Order

Witney, Burwell Drive and Farmhouse Meadow Prohibition of Vehicles Date of Order: 20 July 2020 Coming into force: 27 July 2020 This Order is being introduced because of carriageway resurfacing works which are anticipated to be completed 7 August 2020. This will operate between 07:00 and 19:00hrs. The effect of the Order is to temporarily prohibit any vehicle proceeding or waiting in the whole length of Burwell Drive and Farmhouse Meadow. Appropriate traffic signs will be displayed to indicate when the measures are in force. Exemptions are included for emergency services and for the works and for access to premises which are only accessible from the closed sections of road. The alternative route for traffic is via Ducklington Lane, Curbridge Road and vice versa. This Order will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works have been completed whichever is the sooner. (Ref T7826/AC)_

Lyneham, road from A361 Prohibition of Vehicles Date of Order: 20 July 2020 Coming into force: 27 July 2020 This Order is being introduced because of carriageway improvements which are anticipated to be completed on 28 August 2020. The effect of the Order is to temporarily prohibit any vehicle using the unnamed road from the A361. Appropriate traffic signs will be displayed to indicate when the measures are in force. Exemptions are included for emergency services and for the works and for access to premises which are only accessible from the closed section of road. The alternative route for traffic is via the B4450-Sarsden Road-A361 Burford Road and vice versa. This Order will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works have been completed whichever is the sooner. (Ref T7687/RAG)_

Notice of Temporary Traffic Order

Cassington, Burleigh Road, OX29 4DZ (Railway Over-bridge) Prohibition of Through Traffic Date of Order: 6 July 2020 Coming into force: 13 July 2020 This Order is being introduced because of rail-side fencing works which is anticipated to take 12 days to be completed. The effect of the order is to temporarily prohibit through traffic using a section of Burleigh Road (near railway over-bridge). Appropriate traffic signs will be displayed to indicate when the measures are in force. Exemptions are included for emergency services and for the works. The alternative route for traffic is via Cassington Road -A4095 - Lower Road -A40 - Eynsham Road - Yarnton Road & Burleigh Road and vice-versa. This Order will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works have been completed whichever is the sooner (Ref.T7573/MR)
