NOTICE OF CONFIRMATION OF MODIFICATION ORDER SECTION 53 OF THE WILDLIFE AND COUNTRYSIDE ACT 1981 The Oxfordshire County Council Definitive Map and Statement of Public Rights of Way for Oxfordshire Great Haseley Footpath No 35 Modification Order 2020 On the 16 March 2020, Oxfordshire County Council confirmed without modification the above Order made under section 53 of the Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981. The effect of the order as confirmed is to modify the Definitive Map and Statement for the area by:-
Adding to them the footpath in Great Haseley from Footpath No. 29 (Back Way) at grid reference SP 6403 0188, south for approximately 21 metres to grid reference SP 6403 0186 atLewington Close, then south-south-easterly following the pavement of Lewington Close for approximately 19 metres to grid reference SP 6404 0185 at Rectory Road. The Order as confirmed became operative on the date of confirmation but if a person aggrieved by the order wants to question its validity, on the ground that it is not within the powers of section 53 of the Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981, or on the ground that any requirement of Schedule 15 to the Act has not been complied with in relation to the order, he or she may, under paragraph 12 of Schedule 15 to the Act, within 42 days from 26th March 2020, make an application for that purpose to the High Court.
