MORRELL AVENUE (OXFORD) PROPOSED ZEBRA CROSSING
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Oxfordshire County Council as the local highway authority under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and all other enabling powers proposes to construct the following traffic feature on Morrell Avenue in Oxford to help improve pedestrian safety in the area:
A Zebra Crossing (a crossing for use by pedestrians) at the following location:
o Approx. 10 metres* south-west of its roundabout junction
with Divinity Road. o The crossing will replace the existing un-controlled crossing
place, and will include a new kerbed central island with
accompanying tactile paving.
* All dimensions are approximate, taken from the centre of the junction to the centre of the feature.

or in person at County Hall, Oxford, OX11ND, between 9am and 4.30pm Monday to Friday; and at Headington Library, North Place, Headington, OX3 9HY, from 9.15am to 1pm Monday & Wednesday, 9.15am to 7pm Tuesday & Thursday, 9.15am to 5pm on Friday, and 9am to 4.30pm on Saturdays. Objections to the proposal, specifying the grounds on which they are made and any other representations, should be sent in writing to the address below (or via the web address above) no later than 27 March 2020. The County Council will consider objections and representations received in response to this Notice. They may be disseminated widely for these purposes and made available to the public.
