Notice of Temporary Footpath Closure
Merton No.295/1 &Wendlebury No.398/2 Date of Order: 14 October 2019 Coming into force: 18 October 2019 This Order continues in force an emergency closure notice put in place on 27 September 2019. The order is being introduced because of bridge replacement works which are anticipated to be completed 25 October 2020. The effect of the Order is to close temporarily footpath Nos.295/1 & 398/2 between Merton and Wendlebury. Exemptions are included for emergency services and for the works and for pedestrian access to premises which are only accessible from the closed section of footpath. Appropriate signs will be displayed to indicate when the measures are in force. There is no official pedestrian diversion route.
This Order will remain in force for a maximum period of 6 months or until the works have been completed whichever is the sooner (Ref.T7313/RAG)_
Notice of Temporary Traffic Order
Lower Heyford, Station Road - B4030 Prohibition of Through Traffic Date of Order: 24 February 2020 Coming into force: 2 March 2020 This Order is being introduced because of Thames Water maintenance works which are anticipated to take 3 weeks to complete. The effect of the Order is to temporarily prohibit any vehicle proceeding in the section of Station Road (B4030) east of the River and Rail Bridge. Appropriate traffic signs will be displayed to indicate when the measures are in force. Exemptions are included for emergency services and for the works and for access to premises which are only accessible from the closed section of road. The alternative route for traffic affected is Station Road (B4030) - Banbury Road (B4260) -B4027 - Port Way (A4095) - Oxford Road (B430) - Lower
Heyford Road (B4030) - Station Road (B4030) and vice-versa. This Order will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works have been completed whichever is the sooner (Ref. T7284/MR)

(BICESTER) (SPEED LIMITS) ORDER 20**
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Oxfordshire County Council proposes to make the above Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and all other enabling powers. The Order will revoke/replace the Oxfordshire County Council the Oxfordshire County Council (Bicester Area) (Speed Limits)
Order 2019.
On the A41 northbound approach to Bicester, it is proposed for road safety reasons to:
? extend southwards the existing 40mph speed limit on that carriageway by approximately 240* metres, and

? approaching that, to introduce a 50mph speed limit for approximately 670* metres.

? reducing the existing national speed limit (70mph) by the same amounts.
