(VARIOUS STREETS, NORTH HINKSEY) (WAITING RESTRICTIONS) (VARIATION NO.*) ORDER 20**

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN the County Council proposes to make the above order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and all other enabling powers. The Oxfordshire County Council the (Various Streets, North Hinksey, Oxford) (Waiting Restrictions) Order 2009 will be further amended accordingly. The effects of the proposals are:

1. to introduce new areas of 'No Waiting at Any Time' (Double Yellow Lines - DYLs) into, and either side of the junctions of Laburnum Road, Turner Drive & Sycamore Road with Lime Road,



2. North Hinksey Lane - extending the DYLs to cover the majority of the length of the northeast side (there will be two 10 metre sections of un-restricted parking close to the cemetery & allotment gardens) form Old Botley to the A34 junction; and for most of the southwest side excluding the following areas of time-limited waiting,



3. New areas of 'No waiting from 11am to 12noon' outside the houses in the service road, and a section west of the northern layby at the southern end of North Hinksey Lane, and



4. New areas of 'No waiting from 1pm to 2pm' all around the majority of both sides of the service road 'island', with sections of DYL on the western side of North Hinksey Lane, as well as a section to the east of the southern layby at the southern end of North Hinksey Lane.



* The existing areas of No Waiting 8am to 6pm southeast and north of the Industrial Estate will be retained. Documents giving more details of the proposals are available for public inspection online by visiting:

Objections to the proposals specifying the grounds on which they are made and any other representations should be sent in writing to the address given below no later than Friday 13 March 2020. The Council will consider objections and representations received in response to this Notice. They may be disseminated widely for these purposes and made available to the public. (BUCKLAND PARISH) (SPEED LIMITS) ORDER 20**

NOTICE IS HEREBY that Oxfordshire County Council proposes to

make the above order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act

1984 and all other enabling powers. The order will revoke and

replace the existing Oxfordshire County Council (Buckland

Parish) (Speed Limits) Order 2000.

The effect of the order, as a result of road safety concerns is to

introduce:

? a 20mph speed limit on Carswell Lane, leading from the A420 Oxford to Faringdon road northwards for 578 metres (to cover access to the school site), thereafter followed by



? a 30mph speed limit, for the remainder of Carswell Lane.



? Both limits will replace the existing unrestricted National Speed Limit.
