OXFORD ROAD (LITTLEMORE, OXFORD) PROPOSED ZEBRA CROSSING & TRAFFIC CALMING MEASURES
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Oxfordshire County Council as the local highway authority under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and all other enabling powers proposes to construct the following traffic features on Oxford Road in Littlemore to help improve pedestrian safety in the area:
? A Humped Zebra Crossing (a crossing for use by pedestrians) at the following location:
- Approx. 40 metres* south of its junction with Swinbourne Road. The crossing will be sited on a new flat top road hump approx.
4.5m wide and 75mm high, with ramp gradient of 1:12
? Traffic calming features comprising of:
- A Flat Top Hump - to be located 10 metres* north of its junction with Dudgeon Road, approx. 4m wide and 75mm high, with ramp gradient of 1:12
- Single Speed Cushion - located 78 metres* north of its junction with Swinbourne Road, to be 1.6m wide, 2.5m long and 75mm high
? All dimensions are approximate, taken from the centre of the junction to the centre of the feature.

or in person at County Hall, Oxford, OX11ND, between 9am and 4.30pm Monday to Friday; and at Littlemore Library, Oxford Academy Campus, Sandy Lane West, Littlemore OX4 6J2 from 2pm to 6pm on Monday, 2pm to 4.30pm Tuesday and Thursday, 9.30am to 12.30pm Thursday and Friday and 9.30am to 1.30pm on Saturday.
Objections to the proposal, specifying the grounds on which they are made and any other representations, should be sent in writing to the address below (or via the web address above) no later than 6 March 2020. The County Council will consider objections and representations received in response to this Notice. They may be disseminated widely for these purposes and made available to the public.
