NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Oxfordshire County Council proposes to make the above orders under Sections 32, 35,45,46,49 and 53 and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and all other enabling powers. The effect of orders 1. & 2. above specifying increases in certain Parking costs and Residents Permit costs is to amend the orders as follows: Those orders listed in the schedule to this Notice are the affected controlled parking zones for Oxford and North Hinksey. The cost increases are as follows:

1. All Residents Permits currently costing £60 will be increased to £65 per annum index linked for the 1st & 2nd car



2. All Residents Permits currently costing £120 will be increased to £130 per annum index linked for a 3rd car



3. All Residents Permits currently costing £180 will be increased to £200 per annum index linked for a 4th car



4. All Residents Permits currently costing £15 will be increased to £16 per annum index linked.



5. All Visitors Permits currently costing £20 for a block of 25 (second allocation) will be increased to £25 index linked. The initial block of 25 will remain free of charge as will all Visitors Permits for zones covered by the Kassam Stadium Orders.



6. Annual Business Permits will increase from £100 to £110.



7. Contractors/traders permits currently costing £20 will be increased to £25.



The Oxfordshire County Council (Various Roads - South Oxfordshire) (Prohibition and Restriction of Waiting and Permitted Parking) Order 2008 (as amended) is also amended to reflect parking increases in Henley and Wallingford as follows:

8. The Henley Residents Permit currently costing £80 will increase to £100 per annum index linked.

10. Re Order 4 above, Abingdon Visitors Permits will cost £25 for 2nd allocation of 25 permits. All these charges are inflationary increases to take effect 1 April 2020 (last varied 2016) and such increases will not take place more frequently than once every three years.



11. Re Order 3. above, there is a minor administrative change to the Oxfordshire County Council (Oxford City) (Designation and Regulation of Pay and Display Parking Places) Order 2017 (as amended) to clarify the length of paid parking and double yellow lines in Cromwell Street.
