Notice of Temporary Traffic Order

Woodeaton, unnamed road from B4027 Prohibition of Through Traffic Date of Order: 3 February 2020 Coming into force: 10 February 2020 This Order is being introduced because of water main laying works which are anticipated to be completed on 31 March 2020. The effect of the Order is to temporarily prohibit any vehicle proceeding in the whole length of unnamed road through Woodeaton running from the B4027. Appropriate traffic signs will be displayed to indicate when the measures are in force. Exemptions are included for emergency services and for the works and for access to premises which are only accessible from the closed section of road. The alternative route for traffic is via B4027 - Bayswater Road - Northway A40 and vice versa. This Order will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works have been completed whichever is the sooner (Ref. T7276/RAG)_

Wallingford - Footpath Closure No.25 Date of Order: 3 February 2020

Coming into force: 11 February 2020 This Order is being introduced because of construction works which are anticipated to be completed 11 June 2020. The effect of the Order is to close temporarily footpath No.25 (between Brightwell-cum-Sotwell and Calvin Thomas Way). Exemptions are included for emergency services and for the works and for pedestrian access to premises which are only accessible from the closed section of footpath. Appropriate signs will be displayed to indicate when the measures are in force. Alternative route will be signed locally. This Order will remain in force for a maximum period of 6 months or until the works have been completed whichever is the sooner (Ref. T7234/AC)_

Notice of Temporary Traffic Order

Abingdon, Northcourt Road Prohibition of Through Traffic Date of Order: 17 February 2020 Coming into force: 24 February 2020 This Order is being introduced because of gas main replacement works which are anticipated to be completed on 13 March 2020. The effect of the Order is to temporarily prohibit any vehicle proceeding in that part of Northcourt Road between the junctions of Shelly Close and Oxford Road. Appropriate traffic signs will be displayed to indicate when the measures are in force. Exemptions are included for emergency services and for the works and for access to premises which are only accessible from the closed section of road. The alternative route for traffic is via Northcourt Road, Oxford Road, Stratton Way, Bath Street, Wootton Road, Northcourt Road and vice versa. This Order will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works have been completed whichever is the sooner. (Ref. A338 CROWN MEADOW (EAST HANNEY) PROPOSED PUFFIN CROSSING

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Oxfordshire County Council as the local highway authority under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and all other enabling powers proposes - as a result of the development of land adjacent to the A338 Crown Meadow in East Hanney - to construct a Puffin Crossing (a signalised crossing for use by pedestrians) to help improve pedestrian safety in the area:

? A338 Crown Meadow - approx. 20* metres north of the junction with Anderson Place



* All dimensions are approximate, taken from the centre of the junction to the centre of the crossing.
