ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14(1)

Notice of Temporary Traffic Order

East Hanney, Summertown Prohibition of Through Traffic Date of Order: 27 January 2020 Coming into force: 3 February 2020 This Order is being introduced because of installation of cable ducting for a new development which is anticipated to be completed 16 February 2020.

The effect of the Order is to temporarily prohibit any vehicle proceeding in the northern section of Summertown. Appropriate traffic signs will be displayed to indicate when the measures are in force. Exemptions are included for emergency services and for the works and for access to premises which are only accessible from the closed section of road. The alternative route for traffic is via Main Street and the A338 and vice versa. This Order will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works have been completed whichever is the sooner (Ref.T7251/AC)_

Notice of Temporary Traffic Order

Crowmarsh - Footpath Closure No.181/3 and 181/2 Date of Order: 27 January 2020 Coming into force: 03 February 2020 This Order is being introduced because of new construction of a residential development works which are anticipated to take 3 years to complete.

The effect of the Order is to close temporarily footpath No. 181/3 and 181/2.

Exemptions are included for police, fire and ambulance services and for the works and for pedestrian access to premises which are only accessible from the closed section of footpath.

Appropriate signs will be displayed to indicate when the measures are in force. There is no official diversion route. This Order will remain in force for a maximum period of 6 months or until the works have been completed whichever is the sooner (Ref T7207/AC)

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 -SECTION 14(1) AND (7) Notice of Temporary Traffic Order

Crowmarsh, A4074 - 30mph Speed Limit Date of Order: 27 January 2020 Coming into force: 3 February 2020 This Order is being introduced because of construction works which are anticipated to take up to 3 years to complete. The effect of the Order is to temporarily reduce the current 50 mph speed limit to 30 mph on the A4074 between the Crowmarsh Roundabout and its junction with Benson Lane. The relevant part of the Oxfordshire County Council (Benson and Ewelme Area) (Speed Limits) Order 2018 will be temporarily suspended.

Appropriate traffic signs will be displayed to indicate when the measures are in force. The Council is satisfied that it is necessary for the Order to remain in force until the Works have been completed or the Order is revoked, whichever is the earlier (Ref.T7205/RAG)
