The Oxfordshire County Council Definitive Map and Statement of Public Rights of Way

for Oxfordshire Fritwell Restricted Byway No. 2 Modification Order 2019

The above Order made on the 11 November 2019, if confirmed as made, will modify the Definitive Map and Statement for the area by:-

Upgrading to a restricted byway the public right of way from the Somerton-Souldern Road at grid reference SP 5148 2994 south-south-west for approx. 915m to the Fritwell-Somerton Road at SP51272905. Continuing from the road at SP 51272903 south-south-west for approx. 307m to Somerton Bridleway No. 9 at the Somerton parish boundary at SP5120 2874. Adding to them the footpath in Benson from the Littleworth Road at grid reference SU 6161 9190 generally south for approx. 11m to SU 6162 9189, then generally east for approx. 11m to SU 6163 9189 and then generally south for approx. 8m to Footpath No 13 at SU 6163 9188. Deleting part of Bridleway No 2 in Ardley from its junction with the B4100 at grid reference SP 5416 2955 generally south-south-west to the west of a field boundary for approx. 340m to join the unaffected section of the path at SP 5409 2923; and Adding a bridleway in Ardley from its junction with the B4100 at grid reference SP 5417 2954 generally south-south-west immediately to the east of a field boundary for approx. 320m to join the unaffected section of the path at SP 5409 2923. From Abingdon Road, Standlake at Ordnance Survey Grid Reference (OSGR) SP 3882 0321, running along Croft Lane in a generally south-westerly direction for a distance of approximately 574 metres to OSGR SP 3849 0274 at the junction of Croft Lane and Smockfarthing Lane. If any of the orders are submitted to the Secretary of State for the Environment, Food and Rural Affairs any representations or objections which have been duly made and not withdrawn will be sent with them.
