Notice of Temporary Traffic Order
Abingdon - Northcourt Road Prohibition of Through Traffic Date of Order: 18 November 2019 Coming into force: 25 November 2019 This Order is being introduced because of gas main replacement works which are anticipated to be completed on 20 December 2019.
The effect of the Order is to temporarily prohibit any vehicle proceeding in the whole length of Northcourt Road Appropriate traffic signs will be displayed to indicate when the measures are in force.
Exemptions are included for police, fire and ambulance services and for the works and for access to premises which are only accessible from the closed section of road. The alternative route for traffic affected by the closure is via Northcourt Rd - A4183 Oxford Rd - A415 Stratton Way -B4017 Bath Street - B4017 Wooton Rd - Northcourt Rd vice versa
This Order will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works have been completed whichever is the sooner.

(MARCHAM PARISH) (SPEED LIMITS) ORDER 20**
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Oxfordshire County Council proposes to make the above order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and all other enabling powers. The effect of the order, as a result of road safety concerns is to reduce the national 60mph speed limit to 50mph limit on the A414 Marcham Road between Marcham and the A34 Marcham/Abingdon interchange. The Oxfordshire County Council (Marcham Parish) (Speed Limits) Order 2017 will be revoked/replaced. HANNEY ROAD, STEVENTON: PROPOSED ZEBRA CROSSING & TRAFFIC CALMING
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Oxfordshire County Council as
the local highway authority under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and all other enabling powers proposes to construct the following features on Hanney Road in Steventon, at the following locations to help improve pedestrian safety in the area:
? Zebra Crossing (a controlled crossing for use by pedestrians only) - approximately 16* metres southeast of its junction with Barnett Road.

? Speed Cushions - two pairs of speed cushions approx. 3.7m long, 1.7m wide and 75mm high, to be located:

° 41* metres northwest of the junction with Barnett Road, and
° 15* metres northwest of the junction with St Michaels Way. *All dimensions are approximate, taken from the centre of the junction to the centre of the crossing. Documents giving more details of the proposals are available for public inspection online by visiting:

PROPOSED ZEBRA CROSSING
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Oxfordshire County Council as
the local highway authority under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and all other enabling powers proposes to construct a Zebra crossing (a crossing for use by pedestrians) at the following location to help improve pedestrian safety in the area: Oxford Lane -approximately 20* metres west of its roundabout junction with North Drive.
(*All dimensions are approximate, taken from the centre of the junction to the centre of the crossing.) Documents giving more details of the proposals are available for public inspection online by visiting:
