NOTICE OF CONFIRMATION OF AN ORDER PUBLIC PATH DIVERSION AND DEFINITIVE MAP AND STATEMENT MODIFICATION ORDER HIGHWAYS ACT 1980, WILDLIFE AND COUNTRYSIDE ACT 1981 The Oxfordshire County Council, Sibford Gower Footpath No 7 (part), Public Path Diversion and Definitive Map and Statement Modification Order 2019 On 26th June 2019, the Oxfordshire County Council confirmed the above Order, made on 25th April 2019, under section 119 of the Highways Act 1980 and section 53A(2) of the Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981. The effect of the Order as confirmed is to modify the Definitive Map and Statement for the area by diverting 114m of Sibford Gower Fp No 7 that runs from OS Grid Ref SP 3422 3732 south-westwards across the field immediately east of Haynes Barn to Sibford Gower Br No. 2 at SP 3413 3724 to a line running for 97m from SP 3422 3732 south-south-westwards across the field to SP 3416 3724 where it re-joins Sibford Gower Br No 2 30m further east of Haynes Barn as shown on the Order map. The Order came into force on the date of confirmation but if any person aggrieved by the Order wants to question its validity, or that of any provision contained in it, on the ground that it is not within the powers of the Highways Act 1980 (the Act), as amended, and/or the powers of section 53A of the Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981 (WCA) or on the ground that any requirement of either Act or of any regulation made under them has not been complied with in relation to the Order, he or she may, under paragraph 2 of Schedule 2 to the Act as applied by paragraph 5 of Schedule 6 to the Act and as applied by s53A(7) WCA, within six weeks from 18th July 2019 make an application to the High Court.
