HIGHWAYS ACT 1980, SECTION 119 NOTICE OF MAKING A PUBLIC PATH DIVERSION ORDER

THE VALE OF WHITE HORSE DISTRICT COUNCIL PUBLIC FOOTPATH UFFINGTON No. 9 (PART) PUBLIC PATH DIVERSION ORDER 2015


The above Order, made on 17 April 2015 under Section 119 of the Highways Act 1980 will divert the public right of way running from OS Grid Reference SU 3031 8938 on 'Waylands', approximately 28m north-west of Broad Street (Point A on the Order plan) to a new length of footpath running in a north westerly direction for
approximately 26m along 'Waylands' to SU 30292 89395 (Point C on the plan), continuing in a south­westerly direction for 12m to SU 30282 89387 (Point D on the plan) with a width of 1.5m. The footpath continues in a west-south-westerly direction for 6m with a width of 1.3m to SU 30277 89385 (Point E on the plan) and then in a west-north-westerly direction for 24m to SU 30253 89388 (Point F on the plan) before turning northwards for 1m to SU 30253 89389 (Point B on the plan) with a width of 1.5m as shown on the Order Map.

A copy of the order and the order map may be seen free of charge at Vale of White Horse District Council, Abbey House, Abbey Close, Abingdon, Oxon OX14 3JE from 8.30 a.m. to 4.30 p.m. Monday to Friday. Copies of the order and map may be bought there at the price of £10. Any representations about or objections to the order may be sent or delivered in writing addressed to the Senior Litigation and Planning Lawyer, Vale of White Horse District Council, Abbey House, Abbey Close, Abingdon, Oxon OX14 3JE not later than 3 June 2015.

Please state the grounds on which they are made.
If no such representations or objections are duly made, or if any so made are withdrawn, the Vale of White Horse District Council may confirm the Order as an unopposed

Order. If the Order is sent to the Secretary of State for confirmation, any representations or objections which have been duly made and not withdrawn will be sent with the Order
