Stanley Arthur Robins "STAN" Passed away peacefully in Summertown, Oxford, on 30th December 2011 at 80 years of age. Son of Robert George Robins and Lillian Maude Newbold, brother to Lillian, Ivy, Violet, Robert and Billy, all of whom predeceased him. Born in St Pancras, London, Stan lived most of his life in Oxford. He worked at Morris Motors, Cowley, and for Oxfordshire County Council. Stan enjoyed travelling regularly to Paignton and Bournemouth for his holidays. He has requested that two benches be placed in his name at his favourite holiday spots and has also generously supported the following charities: Helen and Douglas House and Oxford Homeless Pathways. He will be sadly missed by all who knew him. Funeral services will be held at Oxford Crematorium on Monday 16th January at 13:00. All are welcome to attend. This will be followed by the internment of his ashes at Wolvercote Cemetery on Saturday 21st January at 12:30. Donations in lieu of flowers are invited for Sobell House Hospice Charity, c/o Reeves & Pain, 22 Fairfax Centre, Kidlington, Oxfordshire, OX5 2PB.
