LORD Alphonsus Distinguished medical research engineer for many years at the original Radcliffe Hospital, Oxford, and disability and rehabilitation specialist for, among others, The Cheshire Homes, passed away peacefully at Southend University Hospital on November 11th aged 94. Beloved father of David, Christine and (deceased) Gregory, widower of Beryl and brother to Bernadette, he will be greatly missed by the many whose lives he enriched with his wisdom, expertise, generosity and love, none more so than Polly, his companion and carer in his later years. Funeral at Oxford Crematorium, Headington, November 23rd at 2.15pm.
