My beautiful Mum. Your bravery, wisdom, humour and trademark no-nonsense approach has humbled me over the past 4.5 months. You wrote this death notice back in February, just leaving me to fill in the missing gaps. You fought on much longer than the medical profession thought you would, and only slipped away when you'd said, seen and done all you needed and wanted to. You saw me into this world, and I saw you out of it... it was an honour to do that. The end was peaceful and calm, and as I held your hand and stroked your hair, I hope you could hear me tell you how proud I am of you, how lucky I am to be your daughter, how you've left a handprint on many hearts, and how loved you are. So, SO loved. Love you always Mum. "Nighty night, loves you, see you in the morning..."
