ADBY Barbara Elizabeth (Betty) Of Dringhouses, York, formerly of Oxford (proprietor of Risings of Summertown gift shop until 2001). Passed peacefully away, aged 91 years, at Meadowbeck Care Home, Osbaldwick, York following a dignified fight with dementia. Adored wife of Colin (d.2014) for 60 years, dearly loved mother of Chris, Glenda and Terry, and treasured grandmother of Emma, Joe and Jake. Betty's funeral will take place at 1pm on Monday 27th September at York Cemetery (Cemetery Rd, York). Donations in her memory to St Leonards Hospice and Age UK York greatly appreciated.
