NEWMAN Michael David of Wheatley, Oxon 26th Feb 1938 - Apr 10th 2019 It is with much sadness that we notify that Michael, also known as Mike or Mick, passed away peacefully in the late evening of April 10th 2019 he was 81 years old. He is survived by his partner Liz, his two sons Rick & Rob and brother John. A respected and much-loved partner, dad, brother, uncle, cousin and friend, he worked hard and lived an enjoyable and accomplished life. His laid-back friendly nature with his great sense of humour shone through with all who spent time with him. He was a truly honest, sincere, dependable and down to earth person. To quote his partner Liz, "He was just a decent, lovely man". He will be missed greatly, but we know he is in a better place now. The service will be held at Oxford Crematorium on Thursday April 25th 2019 at 4.00pm. Family flowers only please with donations to the Institute of Meningitis Research, donations will collected at the service.
