A nine-year-old entrepreneur is taking action to promote wellness among his peers by launching his own vitamins.

Myles Kenmure-Whittaker is breaking the barriers of his age to contribute meaningfully to mental health awareness in schools.

A collaboration with Oxford-based supplement company Cognihaxhas given him a platform to address a need that many children find challenging - swallowing traditional vitamins.

Myles said: "I noticed that many kids, including my sister, find it difficult to take their vitamins because they don't like swallowing tablets."

This insight led the young innovator to design a multivitamin product with a focus on convenience and taste, targeting fussy eaters and health-conscious families alike.

Understanding that affordability plays a role in parents' choice for multivitamins, Myles formulated a business model that offers ample supply at a competitive price.

He explained: "I want them to be affordable, and a good deal so everyone can buy them, mums and dads love a good deal!

His product, which offers four months' worth of supply, retails for £12.99.

Visual and taste appeal formed a significant part of Myles's design process.

He said: "I wanted the gummies to look cool, like a teddy.

"I thought it might encourage fussy kids, like my sister, to take their vitamins without a fuss."

"Some vitamins taste horrible, I wanted mine to taste amazing."

The nine-year-old settled on a scrumptious berry flavour.

Myles further explained: "They have to have a cool picture on them".

After considerable brainstorming, Myles ended up with a creative representation of a strawberry lifting weights.

He said: "I chose a strawberry because berries are superfoods."

Myles's venture ties in neatly with the growing emphasis on mental and physical health in schools, particularly heightened by Mental Health Awareness Week.

The unique venture sees him actively using his entrepreneurial passion for fostering health and creativity amongst his peers.

Reflecting on his venture, Myles expressed optimism and pride.

He said: "I am really proud of my vitamins and I hope others love them too."
