A driver was arrested for suspected drug driving on the M40 near Banbury yesterday evening. 

Thames Valley Police's road policing team said a vehicle was stopped last night (May 13) on the M40 at Junction 11 following reports that a wanted person may have been inside.

Police said the wanted person was not present in the vehicle but the driver "failed a roadside drug swipe for cannabis" and was arrested. 

It comes as police continue to hammer home the danger of the "fatal four" which includes drug and alcohol use on roads 

Not wearing a seat belt, using a mobile phone and speeding are the other "fatal four" dangerous behaviours, police campaigns have tried to reduce.
