A man arrested on at a property in Bicester has been charged with three shoplifting incidents. 

The 36-year-old Bicester man has also been with entering a closed premises in contravention of a closure order for his presence at the Bicester address. 

He was remanded in police custody and will appear at Oxford Magistrates Court this morning.

Thames Valley Police Cherwell confirmed the 36-year-old Bicester man was arrested on Monday (May 13) in Evenlode Close by the Bicester Problem Solving team.

The TVP Cherwell spokesperson earlier said the man was found to be outstanding for a number of shopliftings which they were "progressing and hope to seek charges on". 

Police confirmed the closure order was granted by Oxford Magistrates' Court due to "ongoing drug-related anti-social behaviour" at the property.

The order states that only specified people can be inside the address.

The male was not one of the people allowed inside and police say his presence breached the order.
