I REFER to your front page picture (Monday’s Oxford Mail) of Jeremy Clarkson enjoying a cigarette at the Blenheim Triathlon.
This non-story, which merely shows a well-known local personality relaxing at a local event, is a wholly unwarranted intrusion of privacy.
It must be difficult enough for someone with Mr Clarkson's profile to enjoy some time in public without the constant, pestering intrusion of long-lens paparazzi but for you to publish such an item is quite unreasonable.
A nice product placement for Barbour International, however.
