I notice bosses at Thames Water say the recent deluge of rain is not enough “because we are still supplying customers”.
Pardon us for being a nuisance! Words absolutely failed me.
It is the customers that keep them in business.
Try ringing Thames Water – you are on hold for heaven knows how long. The fact that you have no supply is seldom down to them (are all your neighbours off? or have you called a plumber?) and eventually they just may concede there is a leakage or burst pipe or whatever, and grudgingly apologise.
Water bills come in, always on the up.
Come off it, Thames Water.
Yes, we have had a drought. Now we have rain.
Have you tried conserving it?
