Parking complaints
10:00am Monday 7th May 2012 in Letters
You recently reported on complaints about the parking restrictions in Kidlington High Street (Oxford Mail, April 23).
Where else in Oxfordshire can you drive into the main high street and park on double yellow lines outside the shop you want to use?
Kidlington has free parking two minutes’ walk from the shops.
Council taxpayers were asked to comment on pedestrianisation of the High Street and wanted it to go ahead.
We are part of Cherwell District Council and pay our council tax to them but where does all the money go?
Look at Bicester, look at Banbury and then look at Kidlington.
And then look at which party has the majority of seats on the council. I do not need to say any more.
J WYSE (Mrs), Chorefields, Kidlington
