Satellite shenanigans

So Sky News have admitted illegal phone hacking on two separate occasions and, as far as they are concerned, other news agencies do this.

I wonder if one of those news agencies was Press TV, since thrown off the Sky platform. Somehow I doubt it.

So we have a supposed respected news channel openly breaking the law but continuing to broadcast. Press TV clearly hasn’t “hacked” anyone but we are unable to watch it.

That just underlines the total apathy of our media, politicians and people, who obviously don’t give a hoot at this gross injustice.

No wonder this country is in such a complete and utter mess.

What was it Mahatma Gandhi said when asked about Western civilisation? “Western civilisation, that would be a good idea”. Wonder if he would say the same about democracy?
